With the Ottawa Senators struggling to score, Dorion made a deal Saturday to re-acquire winger Ryan Dzingel from the Carolina Hurricanes for forwards Alex Galchenyuk and Cedric Paquette.
This will be the 28-year-old Dzingel’s second stint with the Senators. He was drafted by the organization No. 204 overall in 2011. Dzingel has two goals and two assists in 11 games this season, but he’ll have to quarantine for 14 days before he can suit up for the Senators.
