Canadian defensive lineman Chris Larsen, who was accused in several social media posts of being involved in an alleged homophobic assault that left a Toronto man hospitalized earlier this month, was among six players released by the Ottawa Redblacks Thursday.
Also gone are American receivers Jaelan Austin and Jovon Durante, defensive back Lashard Durr and linebackers Ironhead Gallon and Nic Grigsby.
